Our Beginnings
In September 2024, the Brinkley Center Foundation (DBA The Brinkley Center) has been established by Dannion Brinkley with the express purpose of establishing the Brinkley Center. The Center will offer programs for those dealing with grief or trauma, caregivers and those facing transition to help them center heart and mind; to rebalance in order to live a life of gratitude. The Center will promote through education and other activities a promotion of whole person health , palliative, hospice, and end of life care topics and the integral role of an integrative healthcare system. Veterans will always be considered a priority. The Center will continue what Dannion began in 1975, an exploration of the topic of life after death.
 | In 1975, Dannion was struck by lightning while talking on the telephone, back in the days when telephones were hardwired. He was clinically dead for 28 minutes before coming back into a body that had been electrocuted and damaged from being thrown up into the air through the bolt of lighting’s power. What followed is a journey that has taken him around the world, to the Halls of Congress, to the pyramids of Egypt and Machu Pichu, to the bedside of thousands of veterans in VA hospice programs and through a number of critical health experiences that gave him a first hand view of the state of our health care system. His NDEs, what he was shown and how he has moved forward are detailed in 3 international best selling books. His work in the 1980s with Dr. Raymond Moody and a huge body of work since; hundreds of radio shows, television shows, a made for TV movie, and his 40 years of work building a training program for hospice volunteers in the U.S. veterans healthcare infrastructure. His first book Saved by the Light is an International and New York Times Best Seller. All of these actions – an almost half century of post lightning injury work has been done so that Dannion could follow through on the instructions he was given from the Spiritual ‘Beings of Light’ that instructed him during his near death experiences (NDEs) brings us to 2024 and the launch of the Brinkley Center. |
Goal 1
Goal 1 as we launch is to establish the Brinkley Center facility and make what Dannion was shown available to more people – caregivers, veterans, anyone facing grief or trauma.

Dannion has located a property that is perfectly suited. Dannion can’t do this alone. He needs your help to raise the funds to acquire the property and establish the center.
